Swamp Romp Home

This is for the 2008 Swamp Romp Movie set for release in Summer 2008. The movie will be about running one of the toughest and most popular runs on the island of Oahu. The Swamp Romp 2008 course was 5.5 miles long and had the most obsticals then previous courses. The weather was perfect and the course run on Kaneohe Marine Core Base. The team limit of 150 teams was reached early making this a prestigious race to get into. Each team consists of 6 runners. The team captain carries the race number and timing chip. This is a race where you are only as strong as your weakest link on the team. All 6 runners must finish together to get a finishing place. There is a one minute penalty for finishing with only 5 team members. The Swamp Romp tests your ability to run on trails, sand, water, clay, mud and various other obstacles with your team back to the finish line. Heats consist of 4 teams starting 30 seconds after each other in numerical order.
