History

The first Kaneohe Marine Core Base Swamp Romp was held in 1994. Race participation has been growing ever sinse. The course is reletively tough, out and back, taking you over, under and though several obstacles. The course changes every year. It is flat and sandy and really, really muddy. There is a strong sense of accomplishment once your team completes the challenge.

Race Start: Staggered start for 4 teams at a time every 30 seconds.
Race Finish: 6 person teams finish together. You are only as strong as your weakest link on the team.
One Race Shower: On a warm day this shower feels good.
